Shanghai details easier airport transfers that can reduce friction for medical trips
A Shanghai update published August 7 says passengers can use new cross-airline transfer services at Pudong, faster links between Pudong and Hongqiao, longer-hour check-in support, and improved layover facilities including rest cabins and free showers.
Shanghai's official August 7 travel update says Pudong airport now supports China's first cross-airline, cross-terminal connecting service for certain China Eastern and Juneyao itineraries, while the Airport Link Line connects Pudong and Hongqiao in about 40 minutes.
