Shanghai reports more than 200 health-management support centres
Shanghai's health authority says the city has built more than 200 community health-management support centres as part of its chronic-disease prevention and management network.

Shanghai Municipal Health Commission reported on October 12, during the city's 2026 hypertension and cardiovascular-disease prevention campaign, that Shanghai has cumulatively built more than 200 health-management support centres. The report describes a community-based model combining prevention and care, generalist and specialist collaboration, graded care, risk assessment, early warning and health management. It also notes that the October 8 event included public consultation, blood-pressure measurement, blood-glucose testing and carotid screening.
