Shanghai's September 30 notice says that, after assessment by municipal and district healthcare-security agencies, three medical institutions and four long-term-care service institutions are proposed for inclusion in designated-service arrangements. The notice lists the proposed institutions and sets a public-comment period from September 29 through October 10.

The notice concerns a proposed local administrative designation; it does not confirm that an institution is already in-network, accepts overseas insurance, or can receive an international visitor. For rehabilitation or longer-stay planning, patients should ask the relevant licensed provider and insurer about current status, assessment, admission, payment and language arrangements.
