Three medical institutions and one long-term nursing provider are under public review through September 21.

Shanghai’s healthcare security authority has proposed adding three medical institutions to its designated basic-insurance network and one nursing provider to its long-term care network. The public notice runs from September 15 to 21; inclusion is still proposed, not final.

For overseas visitors, a place on a local insurance list would not itself establish eligibility for Shanghai basic insurance or direct billing under an international policy. Confirm the institution’s current status, services, appointment route and payment terms directly before planning care.
